Jason R. Van Fossen is the Maine-Endwell superintendent of schools, a position he has held since 2011. Mr. Van Fossen was the district’s High School principal from 2006 to 2011 and the school’s assistant principal from 2003-2004. He spent a year at the Windsor Central School District as High School principal, and was also a social studies teacher in the district.
Mr. Van Fossen received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Secondary Social Studies from the State University of New York at Cortland, and his Master of Science degree in Business Economics from the State University of New York at Oneonta. Mr. Van Fossen received his Certificate of Advanced Study in Educational Administration from the State University of New York at Cortland. He also holds certification in School District Administration and NYS Secondary Education: Social Studies 7-12.
Mr. Van Fossen is a 2011 graduate of the Broome Leadership Institute. He is married with two children.
